This Privacy Policy explains how Monster Agents (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our marketplace.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, password (stored as a secure hash), and optionally your display name.

Listing content

Builders provide listing details including product names, descriptions, URLs, logos, pricing, and categorisation. This content is publicly visible once a listing is approved.

Payment information

Payments for Priority listing subscriptions are processed by Razorpay. We never store raw card data. Razorpay may collect payment information in accordance with their own privacy policy. We retain records of transaction amounts, dates, and subscription status.

Usage data

We collect basic usage data, including outbound link click counts for listings (used to show builders how many times their listing has been clicked). We do not use third-party analytics trackers on consumer-facing pages.

2. How we use your information

• To provide and operate the marketplace service.
• To send transactional emails (email verification, password reset, listing approval/rejection notifications, payment receipts) via Resend.
• To respond to contact form enquiries.
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

• Razorpay — payment processing for Priority listing subscriptions.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Cloudflare R2 — storage for uploaded listing logos.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

4. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes.

Published listing content may remain visible after an account is closed if it was already public. Contact us if you need a listing removed.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Object to processing of your data.

6. Cookies

We use a single HTTP-only cookie to maintain your login session (a refresh token). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
